Couple married for 59 years die holding hands
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
She begged the nurses to keep her dying parents together and the most bizarre and heartbreaking thing happens.
They remained together right until the end, hand in hand.
Love, between two people, can be the most powerful thing on earth. They were married for 59 years, they spent almost every day together. They passed away on the same day, closing the last chapters of their lives together.
“It was normal for them to be holding hands, their love was so precious,” Pattie Beaver, daughter of the couple, Margaret and Don Livengood told Lifetable

.Moments before her parents passed on, Pattie begged and pleaded with the hospital staff to keep her parents in the same room. Margaret, 80, was battling cancer, while Don, 84, was struggling with pulmonary fibrosis and bilateral pneumonia.
After four days of begging, doctors finally reunited Margaret and Don. “We stretched as far as we could with the rules to allow things that aren’t typical because it was the absolute right thing for these patients and for this family", said Dr. Randy Schisler.
