After the passing of her son, Lake, who had battled with cancer for years, Anna Thompson never thought she would be able to tie the knot without her son present. Little did she know until she saw the photo's from her wedding.
She never thought she could tie the knot to her long time boyfriend, Travis Thompson, after the passing of her son that broke her heart. Lake had battled with leukemia for years which led to Anna and Travis having to postpone their wedding a number of times as Lake was in and out of hospital.
A month ago, Anna and Travis got married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Colbert, Georgia. The beautiful event was attended by family and friends who paid tribute to Lake at the wedding.
Although the family knew that it would not be the same without Lake's physical presence, Anna knew that he was there in spirit.
"The thing I dreaded most was taking the pictures. I was sad because he
wasn't going to be in the pictures and it's like you feel guilty taking
photos without him," Thompson said. Little did she know that with the help of an angel, Lake would make it into the wedding photographs after all.
Brandy Angel, a photographer and family friend was the one who captured the matrimonial day. To bring comfort to the family she Photoshopped Lake into one of the family wedding photo's. To her surprise, she discovered something very strange that brought her chills.
"When I got home there was this amazing light in so many of the family photos that moved around them," Angel said. "It never changed shape or color and it moved all around them. It even reflected off her dress in one! It had me covered in goose bumps."
Anna posted the beautiful pictures on Facebook where she shares her many thanks and tribute to her son.
