Cobus Reinach takes on the #HotSeat and bids Durban farewell

We invited Sharks legend Cobus Reinach to take on the #HotSeat before he leaves the country to play for an international team.

In 2009, Cobus arrived to Durban from Bloemfontein to join the Sharks Academy.

After some time at Durban Collegians playing club rugby, Reinach was soon recognised by the Sharks and made it up the ranks very quickly.

Fast forward eight years and Reinach has played 94 matches in a Sharks jersey and 10 times for the Springboks.

Reinach is arguably one of the best scrumhalves in the country, but just like all good things, they always come to an end.

Reinach is off to England to play for the Northampton Saints in the Aviva Premiership on a two-year contract.

Now having spent time with the Sharks in 2016 on tour in France, I got to know Reinach better, and I can tell you he is one solid bloke.

He has always wanted to be in the Hotseat because he reckons he can handle the heat!

So East Coast Breakfast invited him to take to the much-feared Hotseat and I can tell you things got a bit messy.

Have a listen...
