“They’re grinches”: Cheeky baboons crash year-end Christmas party
Updated | By East Coast Radio
A baboon bonanza...
At a year-end function, it's common for some guests to show up unannounced.
In KwaZulu-Natal, we have monkeys and in the Western Cape they have baboons.
One group of celebratory workers were involved in a heartwarming twist of events when a baboon joined in on the fun and brought the gees.
The viral moment that transpired at the Black Marlin Restaurant in Millers Point, Simon’s Town, Cape Town is making the rounds all over social media.

As seen in the video above, one cheeky primate boldly stole and munched on food from unsuspecting restaurant-goers.
The baboon definitely showed this table who is really boss as he stood his ground despite the groups attempt to playfully shoo the animal away. Many users have sympathised with this colossal creature, stating that he is just hungry.

As you can imagine, social media is divided on this particular matter. However, we have no doubt that this year-end function will forever go down in the history books as surprisingly eventful.
