Instead of desperately hoping the sun pops out or getting a fake tan, people are now chowing carrots for a unique, healthy glow.
Turns out there's medical verification behind this - carrots can indeed change the colour of your skin.

As social media influencers and beauty gurus flaunt their carrot-tanned skin, the trend has gained traction.
“Eating too many beta-carotene-filled foods can turn your skin an orangey color,” dermatologist Dr. Melissa Piliang, MD revealed to Cleveland Clinic.
