Kaizer Chiefs have managed to collect maximum points from their first two league games and most of their fans are getting carried away, thinking Amakhosi can go all the way.
We understand why the fans are so excited as they have endured a four-year spell without a trophy, but I think the triumph talk is far fetched.
They have a good squad but it's not strong enough to challenge the likes of Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns. Unlike last season, Ernst Middendorp's men will definitely finish in the top eight this time, but not anywhere near first place.
