The bittersweet chocolate case - Micasa vs Dj Novi
Navendran Naidoo aka DJ Novi claims that his single "Chocolate" was stolen
by Micasa. Maule and Order had to investigate this case.
Durban rapper who goes by the name Dj Novi has filed a case against the group Micasa for allegedly stealing his song - chocolate.
The Durban rapper's version of the song was released in May and features popular South African rugby player, S’bura Sithole
.
His remix was released in June last year, featuring Big Nuz member Mampintsha and rapper, Duncan.
East Coast Urban's Bongani Mtolo interviewed the rapper where he confirmed his allegations.
The case was taken up by the Maule and Order Court, and you - the jury, will decided if Micasa pleads guilty for the charges against them.
