Updated | By Darren, Keri and Sky
Galleria Mall continues to help and support those affected by the #KZNFloods and they have reached out to Lion’s Club of
Amanzimtoti.
Welcome to another edition of The Big Favour with Darren, Keri and Sky.
The recent #KZNFloods once again showed us the spirit of Ubuntu in KZN. Communities came together - and continue to do so - to help those in need.

Andre Beetge, a member of the Lion's Club in Amanzimtoti came forth to accept the call. It's been around for many years.
This NGO serves the entire area of Amanzimtoti. The only difference here Andre explains, is that nothing is retained by the club. Everything gets released back to those communities who are of need. Across the communities, Lion's Club looks at helping with the feeding schemes, diabetes just to name a few areas where there is desperate need.
Kurt Hoggan, General manager of Galleria Mall has heard the NGOs plea and wants to help support the communities.
Galleria Mall donated R50,000 to Lion's Club Amanzimtoti to assist organisation as their always doing amazing work after the #KZNFloods.
Listen to the touching moment below as Andre hears about the generous donation from Kurt:
