Barcelona's tweet unfair on their fans
Updated | By Benedict Ngwenya
FC Barcelona fans are reasonably furious after their team congratulated Real Madrid on Twitter.
Barcelona congratulated their bitter rivals on winning the UEFA Champions League.
The Madrid giants beat Atletico Madrid 5-3 on penalties after a 1-all draw to claim Europe's coveted prize.
The tweet shows how hurt Barcelona are and they are just trying to act strong.
It is unfair on their fans who are still dealing with the pain of seeing their rivals celebrating.
It might seem like a fantastic sportsmanship gesture but it was a bit over the top.
Shaking hands with your enemy and congratulating them after beating you or sending you friends who play for the other teams SMSses is not a bad thing at all but going as far as posting it on social media is inappropriate.
I'm sure Barca management regret having done it but now they can't backtrack on their decision because it's going to look like they're not sure what they are doing.Â

This fan who says they are trying to hide how hurt they are has hit the nail in the head.
