The worst has to be people's homes, workplaces, and roads crumbling.

One can only wonder if the chaos we see now is a result of poor infrastructure, town planning, and engineering?
We brought in engineering geologist from JG Afrika, Kevel Singh, to describe the destruction and what it all means.

Singh also emphasises how maintenance is a problem in many areas in terms of ensuring that water systems are in place to receive excessive water and divert it from people's homes.
