The roads, the houses, the workplaces that are all down; when will we be back up?
We have seen some of the most horrific scenes from the #KZNFloods.
The worst has to be people's homes, workplaces, and roads crumbling.

One can only wonder if the chaos we see now is a result of poor infrastructure, town planning, and engineering?
We brought in engineering geologist from JG Afrika, Kevel Singh, to describe the destruction and what it all means.

Is the damage in some parts of KZN like Umdloti beyond repair?

Singh also emphasises how maintenance is a problem in many areas in terms of ensuring that water systems are in place to receive excessive water and divert it from people's homes.
