Another victorious moment for KZN as The LivingRoom restaurant takes top honours!
KwaZulu-Natal boasts some of the best tourist attractions in South Africa - as well as eateries!
At a recent gala event at GrandWest in Cape Town, the 2022 Eat Out Woolworths Restaurant Awards took place.

The industry was celebrated in a glitzy display of gourmet food, trend setting drinks, and fantastic entertainment, which had over 700 guests, including some of Maznsi’s top celebrities.
After a two-year COVID-19 hiatus, the event was a huge success and a testament to the incredible resilience of the industry.
Chef Johannes and Johanna Richter are the owners of The LivingRoom.
The restaurant can be found in Pinetown. It was also one of only five restaurants in the country awarded a three-star rating.

To receive this award was a massive victory for the province and talking more about it, Richter was over the moon at the support they have been receiving.
"It was always something we were working towards, being up there with the big guns, but we were caught off guard."
According to IOL, The LivingRoom is on the Summerhill Estate which was Johannes’ childhood home, then becoming a B&B in 1997.
