Bad news for any Netflix subscriber!
Netflix is set to introduce advertisements to its broadcasting of either movies and tv shows. This comes after the business took a giant subscriber decline of 20%.
This comes after the streaming giant has seen a decline in subscriptions and new audiences joining the platform and will be a way to compensate for declining revenue.
According to the New York Times, these plans to add the ads on the streaming platform will only start at the end of this year.

Netflix's unique selling point (USP) has been the fact that you could watch shows and movies without pesky adverts. That's about to change.
The company has reported a loss of 200,000 paid subscribers within the first four months of 2022.

Many reports suggest that the the company is forecasting a further decline in the second quarter of 2022.
As a result of this decline, many senior staffers have been relieved of their duties.
