What is pink eye?
Pink eye, or conjunctivitis, is inflammation of the eye's lining. Swollen blood vessels make eyes appear pink or red when inflamed. While it may be irritating, it is rare for pink eye to affect your vision. Treatment can relieve discomfort and early diagnosis can limit spread due to its contagious nature.
