1. White House claims Trump is 'ending' pandemic
This week, the White House Office issued a press release of the Trump Administration’s science and technology accomplishments from President Donald Trump’s first term. The release listed five highlights, including “Ending the COVID-19 pandemic" and that he ended the Kosovo-Serbia war - which ended in 1999.
2. Kim Kardashian slammed for 40th birthday celebration
Kim Kardashian West has been accused of being "tone deaf" after spending her 40th birthday on a private island with a large group of family and friends. Kim said the trip followed "two weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine".

3. Cyril Ramaphosa in self-quarantine after dinner guest tests COVID-19 positive
President Cyril Ramaphosa’s office announced that he is in self-isolation on Wednesday morning after a guest he had attended a dinner with on Saturday tested positive for the coronavirus on Tuesday.

4. Private Dives Into The Titanic Wreckage Will Open in 2021
A company called OceanGate Expeditions is offering an unusual experience to members of the public - a chance to go on a private dive to explore the remnants of the RMS Titanic. Assuming you get through the rigorous interview process possible attendees have to attend, you will have to fork out almost R3-million.

5. Durban woman gets her Master's degree at 75
A 75-year-old Durban woman has graduated with her Master’s degree in nursing. In a statement, UKZN described Pumla Ntikinca’s achievement as “outstanding proof that age is just a number”. Hailing from the small town of Mt Frere in the Eastern Cape, Ntikinca said her relationship with UKZN dates back to the time when she was a tutor at the university.
