The bliss of being able to use a South African licence abroad is a perk that many aren't aware of. 

Despite some obvious differences in certain countries such as driving on the other side of the road and having cars with the steering wheel on the opposite side, some countries are pretty similar to SA roads. 

Recently, BusinessTech released a list that shares which countries us SA driver's licence holders can cruise in without running into trouble with the law.
