Sbu makes top 20 in #MyGateway's Fresh Face Search 2018
Our very own Sbu is in the running to be the face of Gateway, but he needs your help to bag the title.
My soon-to-be one-year-old son is such a joy and an inspiration in my life. He was one of the reasons that I chose to enter Gateway's Fresh Face Search 2018.
I'm honoured to have made the top 20. When I saw my picture on Gateway's Facebook page, I could not believe it. I wanted to scream and jump for joy. What a dream come true.
Gateway is such a massive brand, and I feel that many of the qualities they have resonate with me. I have a special connection with them as I remember growing up and visiting the mall with my friends and family. It holds a special place for me.
I chose to enter the search as I want to strive to be a better father and a better role model for my son. I felt that an opportunity like this would give me that privilege, and a step ahead, to achieve my goals, so I can give him the life I always aspired to provide him.
I feel that I have grown as a brand and a personality and I see a whole lot of Gateway's qualities in me. It would mean the world to me to win, as I would be making my family proud.
I want to be able to use this platform to be a proud product of KZN and to be able to push KZN as a tourist destination. We have such a beautiful province, and everyone across SA should experience it.
What sets me apart from other competitors in this search is my personality. If you've been around me, I have an ability to relate to people, across all boundaries and ages.
