J Sbu releases sign language version of his new song 'Lethokuhle'
Updated | By Supplied / Justin James
Following the success of his single 'Uthandolwakho', J Sbu is back with another song, and it is a song that cuts through to all languages.
It's been over three months since East Coast Radio presenter J Sbu released his single 'Uthandolwakho', and now the man with the great hair is back with yet another track.
It's called 'Lethokuhle' and it's loosely translated to 'the one who brings goodness'.
Ecstatic about the release, J Sbu sat down with us to explain more about the meaning and story behind the song itself.
"The song is not just a romantic song for two but serves to address the multiple extended relationships involved in one’s love story. The story begins by thanking the blessing of motherhood and being raised within a family with care and support, something often forgotten. The song is inspired by the beauty of holy matrimony where two people commit to an eternity together with their most loved ones as witnesses. 'Lethokuhle', meaning ‘the one who brings goodness’, is the name a lover has affectionately coined their one, personifying their existence in their life. So, as the one expresses their newly affirmed undying love, they hint they’ve known each other for years yet blinded, and so these are their vows to each other," he said.

In addition to dropping sick beats, he has made a move to ensure everyone gets a chance to feel the song - even those who are hearing-impaired
"Sign language is the 12th official language in South Africa and to cater for everyone, I've decided to create a sign language version of the song. To my hearing-impaired friends, this one is for you," he said.
