Wife tries to be sweet by washing hubby's gaming controls

Yikes, this is a tough one, but think of it this way... While you can't buy a new wife, you can always get new gaming controls.

What would you do if your wife, with the best intentions, did something she thought was kind – but it ended up costing you money and a major inconvenience?

The best approach? Stay calm and assess the damage. No mishap is worth landing yourself in the dog box with your better half. After all, they say, "Happy wife, happy life."

One husband, a dedicated gamer, shared a video that's hit over 25.6 million views. In it, his wife is seen happily washing his gaming controllers under running water.

Some of the comments were priceless. Fellow gamers suggested he return the favour by washing her Birkin handbag – maybe then she’d understand.

Others advised him to stay cool, reminding him that she was just trying to be helpful.

While we can’t say for sure if this was just a clever stunt for views, his frustration in the comments seemed pretty real.

Of course, just for future reference to anyone who wants to try this at home, remember waterproof doesn't mean indestructible. It usually means a device can withstand some water exposure, but the level of protection varies.

Some items can handle a quick splash, while others might fail if they're submerged underwater for too long.
