Anyone want a "Flakie"?

Do you remember the advert for Cadbury's Flake from back in the day?

The catchy tagline made such an impression back then: "When all resistance crumbles..."

Well, we cannot say that catchphrase isn't true because, after all this time, Cadbury's Flake does have a certain appeal about it. We guess that's why everyone turns to it as their choice of decoration for a range of desserts, not to mention the famous ice-cream cone that has a flake.

A video that caught our attention about this well-known favourite deserved a feature after the food reviewer who was trying a Flake out for the first time said that it looked like a dog treat.

Food Review Brian ate his first Flake, which he called "Flakie", and after his first bite, all resistance crumbled. So much so that he even apologised for calling it a dog treat and gave it a 10/10.

Interestingly enough, the humble Flake is a creation by the Cadbury Brothers and comes from the United Kingdom.

Of course, its irresistibility comes from its unique design and ability to crumble to the touch. Even though this reviewer wasn't well-informed about the history behind Cadbury Flake, the taste won him over in an instant.
