Say cheese for this new coffee trend
Updated | By East Coast Radio
First, there was spring onion lattes, and now, there's cheese coffee...
We love it when people experiment with food, but sometimes it can get a bit much.
Last week, Danny Guselli tackled a trend that became popular in China, the Spring Onion Latte. He was brave and bold enough to try it out and it didn't end in him finishing the cup of coffee.
This time coffee has matched up with an unusual partner and all we can say is that it could be a 'cheesy affair'.
Watch the video below, which shows a person adding a block of cheese to the portafilter before adding the ground coffee granules.
Watching the cheese shavings come out of the portafilter is mesmerising, but we have many questions...
"A northern Scandinavian tradition, kaffeost is a drink/meal in which cubes of cheese are released into a cup of coffee. They absorb it 'like rich, moist cheese sponges'." (The Cut)
