These shoplifters used unusual tactics to distract a cashier!

CCTV footage from a Citgo store in Madison County, Tennessee, posted by 731 Crime Stoppers, shows thieves using an odd method to rob a petrol station.

In the footage, one of the suspects holds a curled-up ball python on the till, and the woman he is with strokes it. Then, the man places it on the counter while the woman appears to talk to someone off-camera. Another python is brought and placed on the counter before the video cuts. According to Sky News, the thieves used the pythons to distract the cashier before stealing.

According to 731 Crime Stoppers, the two suspects were not working alone but alongside two other people. Their target was allegedly CBD oils!

'Crime Stoppers needs your help. On March 4th two black females and 2 black males who had 2 ball pythons stole cbd oil valued at $400 from the Citgo on HWY 138. They left in a small 4 door sedan with a drive out tag and the trunk tied w bungee cords,' reports 731 Crime Stoppers.
