Office worker uses a 55-inch TV as her desktop screen

The quirks of office workers never fail to leave us wanting more...

At first glance, this video had us thinking we were looking at one of those "spot the difference" puzzles. You know, the ones where you have to find the subtle discrepancies between two seemingly identical images.
But this one had a different challenge – asking viewers to spot what shouldn't be on the office desk.
The video shows a woman working in an office, using what appears to be a 55-inch television screen as her computer screen.
Today marks World Hearing Day, and this year's theme is focused on shifting mindsets about ear and hearing care.
The World Health Organization’s theme for 2024 is: “Changing mindsets: empower yourself to make ear and hearing care a reality for all!”
Research highlighted on the Psychological Science website reveals that vision often influences our hearing when trying to identify the location of sounds or flashes of light, and vice versa, our hearing can affect how we process visual information.
So, it’s safe to say that caring for your hearing and eyesight go hand in hand.

People couldn't help but laugh at the suggestion in the post that she wouldn't be able to get away with any "skiving" at work, thanks to her massive screen.
What also really stood out, however, was how much people admired her approach. Many praised her decision to use such a large screen as her computer monitor, seeing it as a clever move.
As much as this served as an entertaining piece of content, it also resonated with many people. With the best of intentions, we remind you: as tempting as it may be to simply enlarge your screen, don't overlook the importance of regular eye tests to keep your vision in top shape.
Have a look at some of the comments on the post.
"I want. I love it. She has three pages open, including the whole Excel sheet. I mean, what!?"
"Yes, mine was 42" multiple windows open, no problem."
"I use two 32” screens, very practical."
"I use 3 TVs at my home desk 55", 42" & 32". Life had never been so grand."
"I think she is on to something."
"Need one for the number of windows I need to open."
Last week, we discussed items that once filled the office setup but have gradually disappeared.
It seems that TV screens are now gaining popularity in the workplace, which sparked the question: are more people turning to TV screens as replacements for their desktop monitors?
