The new way to do an Easter egg hunt: Dad edition

This might be the perfect way to get the family exercising, while having an Easter egg hunt.

Beyond church services and quality time with friends and family, Easter is also enjoyed for the classic Easter egg hunts. Because really, what’s Easter without one?

But this year, why not shake things up a bit.

Instead of sticking to the usual routine of handing kids baskets and sending them off to hunt for chocolate in the garden, try something different. Add a fun twist by getting the dads involved.

A mom on Instagram recently shared a fun new twist on the traditional Easter egg hunt, and let’s just say, it’s a serious upgrade from the usual garden scavenger style.

Here’s how it worked: the moms taped Easter treats onto the dads’ T-shirts, then sent them running into the garden.

Moments later, the kids were let loose, chasing down the dads and grabbing eggs right off their shirts.

Not only was this Easter hunt hilarious and high-energy, but it got the whole family moving, which is a win when you’re trying to balance out all that sugar.
