Mzansi joke about seeing John Wick in PMB

Could John Wick have been scheduled to visit KZN without us knowing?

Even adults can get star-struck when they come face to face with their favourite movie characters. The thrill of seeing someone you admire in person is a rare and priceless experience.

Let’s be real: the chances of bumping into your favourite action hero on the streets of Pietermaritzburg aren't exactly high, but hey – anything can happen.

Recently, a man who bore a striking resemblance to John Wick (played by Keanu Reeves), the retired hitman from the film series of the same name, was spotted walking around PMB.

Watch the first video shared on TikTok that shows the back view of the "John Wick" lookalike.

It is uncanny how much this man resembled the character – not just with his clothing but also in his signature walk.

People were convinced they had spotted Wick, and to be honest, it looked pretty convincing – until we came across another TikTok video showing the same man strolling through the streets of PMB.

This time, we got a clear frontal view, and sadly, it wasn’t the legendary hitman himself.

Still, it was entertaining enough to spark the urge for a 'John Wick' movie marathon.

Check out the video from TikTok.
