KZN guy does the 'hosh karamaima' trend with his "wife"
Updated | By Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
His wife, aka his car, even makes "eyes" at you...

If you haven’t heard of the "Have you seen my wife – Hosh Karamaima" trend on social media, you might just be living under a rock because it’s not just for couples.
The term "Hosh Karamaima" was coined by Cassper Nyovest, who has a knack for creating catchy sayings that fans can’t get enough of. This time, it comes from his hit song 'Kusho Bani'.
Nyovest says AI helped him come up with the phrase, which describes Hosh Karamaima as “a gorgeous and distinguished woman characterised by a harmonious blend of striking physical features and admirable qualities”.
One Durbanite changed things up when he defied expectations and proudly posted a video showcasing his wife – aka his car – on TikTok, using the Hosh Karamaima sound.
There’s an old saying about the unbreakable bond between men and their cars, and Brandon’s video only adds to that narrative.
It was also interesting to see that he’d added eye-catching LED lights to his ride, a trend that’s clearly gaining traction.
We've seen women across KZN swooning over the LED eye feature on trucks, making it a must-have for car enthusiasts.

Brandon’s love for his car didn’t stop at a TikTok post – he took it a step further and even threw a cake-cutting ceremony for his beloved ride!
In the video, he celebrates eight years with his Volkswagen Polo, going all out with a Woolworths cake, a candle, and all the trimmings.
The TikTok video has over 1.5 million views – watch it below.
