In KZN, if you haven’t heard of BB bread, you’re either living under a rock or you simply don’t eat bread.

BB bread has been a staple in our province since the 1800s, with a long-standing tradition and a loyal following across KZN. It has truly stood the test of time, winning the hearts of generations.

For us, it's hard to imagine anyone unfamiliar with BB bread – it’s so ingrained in local culture that we often forget it’s not a household name everywhere.

So, when cookbook author, chef, and cooking show host Mmule Setati discovered she hadn’t heard of this iconic brand, she was left genuinely shocked!

BB Bakeries has been a beloved local brand across KwaZulu-Natal since 1851, with families from the North Coast to Van Reenen, and the South Coast to the Drakensberg, relying on its fresh, soft, and timelessly delicious products.

Exclusively baked for KZN, each BB product is carefully packed and delivered to ensure the quality and taste that generations have come to trust and cherish.

Perhaps Setati hasn't heard of BB because it's exclusive to our vibrant province.
