Driver allegedly steals parking spot – instant karma strikes
Updated | By Udesha Moodley-Judhoo
People are confused about whether this driver lost their footing or was eager for a parking spot.

Drivers usually find parking woes relatable – whether it involves someone parking badly or stealing your spot, there's always a reason to gripe.
This time, though, it seems it was more a case of confusion than parking theft.
In a video shared on TikTok, we see footage from inside an underground parking garage. As a driver carefully reverses into a parking spot, another vehicle races up the ramp and speeds into the parking spot.
The ironic twist? The driver who rushed to steal the spot ended up slamming into the wall.
Yikes, definitely not the outcome you’d want if you were sneakily trying to steal a parking spot.
While many people have jumped to the conclusion that the driver was trying to steal the parking spot, let's consider another perspective.
What if this driver was over-revving to make it up over the ramp, lost focus, and accidentally left their foot on the accelerator?
It's possible that not everyone's out to steal your spot – sometimes accidents happen.
