Airport passengers pranked with fake plug point stickers

Imagine needing to charge your phone and being unable to find a legit plug point at the airport...

Flight layovers or delays can be frustrating, especially when your devices are running low on battery.

Now, imagine being stuck in the waiting lounge with a dead phone, tablet, or laptop. It’s an inconvenience for any traveller, but for someone on a work trip, it can be a nightmare.

One man, with time to spare and a mischievous sense of humour, decided to prank fellow passengers by placing fake plug point stickers around the airport lounge – turning frustration into lighthearted laughter.

He had a good laugh watching several people searching for a power point, capturing their confused reactions as they tried to plug in their chargers.

While it’s not ideal to be pranked when your phone is down to 10%, sometimes a little lighthearted fun is exactly what the world needs.

But seriously though, where does one even get fake plug point stickers, and what purpose do they serve beyond pranking unsuspecting travellers?

In true prank nature, people in the comments were amused by the idea, with many asking where they could get their hands on these sneaky stickers.

One person wrote, "This is actually diabolical."

While another passenger shared that she was one of the passengers caught by these fake plug point stickers at the Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.

It’s a full-circle moment when one of the very people you pranked comes forward in the comments to admit they were caught out.
