Is witchcraft to blame for 'half-human, half- sheep' creature?

While many locals are calling it witchcraft, the agriculture officials are pleading to farmers to vaccinate their animals and stop Rift Valley Fever.

There have been many cases of animals born deformed over the years.
A seven-legged lamb was photographed in New Zealand, an albino snake born with two heads, an unusual six-legged Cambodian cow, and then a calf born in the USA with two faces. Weird, but true.
Now South Africa has one of it's own to add to that list... and it has to be the freakiest one yet?!

Locals in the Eastern Cape are accusing each other of ‘dabbling in witchcraft’ after a sheep gave birth to a ‘half human, half devil lamb’ this week.
Speculation is rife after the human-looking creature was born with hooves and pink skin.

People have suggested that the image is a hoax – or that the animal was a result of the sheep being injected with human sperm, but agriculture officials have confirmed that the animal is real and the pictures are genuine.
It does resemble a human, but word has it that the mother was infected by Rift Valley Fever during the early stages of its pregnancy.
