Watch: Police officer tries to 'arrest' a galloping horse
Updated | By Damon Beard
Forget 'Runaway Bride', this wayward horse was on a mission and nothing was going to stand in its way of freedom.
When a normal citizen is on the road and a police officer wants to stop them, it’s the flashing blue lights or the yells out of the window to ‘stop in the name of the law’ that normally gets the guilty party’s attention, but what happens when it’s a horse in question?

An officer recently found himself trying to stop a horse that got loose running through the neighbourhood, but the horse was having none of it.
Pulling his vehicle up alongside the horse, yelling ‘stop …. please!’, the horse can be seen carrying on about his way, ‘bucking’ the system and trotting off.
The horse was eventually 'apprehended' by handlers and was found guilty of using too much ‘horsepower’, as well as failing to stop when told to.

The horse was 'fined' with some carrots and a bucket of water. Not a bad fine to pay for avoiding the law, don't you think?
