Watch: Elderly couple held at gunpoint during petrol station robbery

"It's footage like this that really makes my blood boil! How heartless and cruel can people be?!" says an irate Damon Beard after seeing this video.
When you witness first hand or watch footage of people being robbed or hijacked, your heart goes out to those victims no matter their age.
But for me, this CCTV footage of an elderly couple being hijacked by an armed criminal at a petrol station literally broke my heart. It is just so, so wrong.
According to Times Live, the hijacking took place this past Saturday in Limpopo. In the video footage, you see the hijacker approaching a vehicle which is parked next to one of the petrol pumps, appearing to hold a gun to the driver's window.

At first, the hijacker attempts to get the door open, but the male driver refuses to get out. Suddenly, his female passenger gets out, and the robber runs around to her side, gets into the vehicle, and forces both of them out.
The woman tries to gather up whatever she can from the car. The hijacker gets into the driver's seat and drives off with the passenger side door still open, leaving the couple standing gobsmacked.

It was reported that the vehicle was eventually recovered almost 30km away from the petrol station.
Seeing videos like this really makes me upset at the crime in our country!
