Twittersphere abuzz following man's proposal in Joburg nightclub

When you think of engagements, you think of romantic settings, right? A deserted beach at sunset, the mountains, and a trickling stream - that type of thing. But some people choose to pop the question differently, at a place that may not be as romantic as champagne at sunrise.

Like this couple, who have literally left the internet in a frenzy with their engagement video from a Joburg nightclub. According to Times Live, the two were partying up a storm before the guy got down on one knee and proposed. Then it gets a bit raunchy when she starts grinding up against him.

Naturally, Twitter exploded with many users taking to the platform to share their hilarious views on the unique proposal. 

So, is it the proposal that’s tacky, or this lady’s grinding and attire? It seems that some people are slating the two, while others are of the opinion ‘live and let live’.

I say do whatever makes you happy. If that’s where you want to propose, then so be it. Yes, maybe it’s slightly tacky, but I think the girl's outfit is way tackier than the actual proposal itself.
