This tattoo artist has proven that beauty can come out of even the worst situations.
Have you got a scar on your body that you wish you could cover up?

An 18-year-old girl by the name of Lydia, who used to self-harm, put her trust in a 21-year-old tattoo artist, Poppy Segger, in the hope that she could cover the reminders of her past. The tattoo took an excruciating six hours to complete. Ouch!

However, the results were amazing and Lydia could not stop looking at herself in front of the mirror. Lydia has a new-found confidence in herself – she is now able to comfortably wear what she wants and even go out swimming, which is something that she wasn’t able to do for many years.
Since the images were shared on Poppy’s Instagram, the responses have been simply overwhelming. Poppy said that she posted the pictures to help others like Lydia. One of the images posted actually received over 28,000 likes in just a few days.
