Swimmers flee after spotting shark close to Costa del Sol shore
Updated | By Damon Beard
Swimmers were asked to evacuate the water immediately when officials noticed something scary lurking beneath the surface.

I think it’s our worst nightmare coming true - swimming in the sea off the coast of one of Europe’s most visited resorts when all of a sudden, a shark siren goes off. Eek!
Beachgoers and tourists at the Costa del Sol holiday resort in Spain were freaked out after noticing a 10-foot shark swimming in shallow waters.

They were immediately asked to leave the water. Officials searched the scene, but unfortunately, they could not locate the shark.
Stunned onlookers filmed the shark on their phones, and could not believe how close the shark was to the shore.
This footage looks like something you would expect to see in Jaws, not on a beautiful beach in Spain. If I was there, I would have run out of the water so fast. Yikes!
