Study reveals which gender says 'I love you' quicker in relationships

Saying 'I love you' is a milestone moment in a relationship, but which gender do you think tends to say it quicker than the other?

Three little words at the heart of every serious relationship have to be the words 'I Love You'. For years, there's been a perception that women, rather than men, are almost always the first to confess and say these three very special and heartwarming words.

That's not the case!

According to Daily Mail, a study has revealed that men not only fall in love quicker but also declare they are smitten sooner than their female counterparts. This is despite the fact that most people surveyed thought it was women who were the hopeless romantics.

The study revealed that men take an average of seven months to tell a new partner that they love them, but with women - it takes almost eight months. What?!

Who said those three little words first in your relationship? Does it really matter who says it first? What if it's a same-sex relationship - as long as you mean it when you say it - that's the most important thing, right?
