I have been hijacked before, so I can relate to the fear and panic that sets in during a situation like this.
In the unfortunate event that you find yourself in a hijacking, Netstar has shared a few things you need to remember:
- Don't be hostile or show attitude toward the hijackers. This would just irk them.
- Don't switch off your calm. Remain calm.
- Avoid eye contact - look down and hear what they have to say.
- Show them that you don't have any weapons on you.
