Have you ever asked for a sign from someone who's passed on...and you got it?

Have you ever asked for a sign from someone who's passed on... and you got it?

Have you lost someone and just wanted a sign of some sort from them? Something that will just let you know they're okay and they're with you?

I was chatting to someone the other day who said that each time she sees butterflies it reminds her of her grandmother who passed away this year.

When I was 21 and I'd just lost my mom, I was angry with the world and I remember lying in bed one night and I said out loud: "Just show me you're here Mom, switch on the light or something..."

And with that... the lamp next to my bed went off and came back on.

I remember getting such a fright, I shot out of bed and ran out of my room.

But then we doubt it, right?

I told my mom: "Do it again... if you switch the lights off again, I'll know it's you."

But it never happened...

The strange thing though is that perhaps there are signs all the time, right in front of us that we just fail to recognise?

My mom used to play the piano and it's often happened that I'll think of her, the radio will be on, and the song she liked playing the most will be the next song that plays.

So is this story coincidence or a sign?

A mother who lost her four-year-old son to a brain tumour believes a robin she saw at his grave was a sign.

She was visiting his grave on the third anniversary of his death when she asked him for a sign... and as she did she sat down in the cemetery and spotted the robin that was flying around close to her.

She calls the robin and it comes to her and sits on her hand.

It even sat on her shoulder and nibbled at her a couple of times.

For me - it is quite weird knowing that it's a wild bird and it's so trusting of her.

What do you think?
