Guy stands under sign, wishes it to fall so he can sue

It seems people do the weirdest things to try and make a quick buck... and suing someone seems to be quite popular.

In 1994, a lady suffered third-degree burns to her legs, groin, and buttocks after spilling a cup of coffee on herself. She sued the coffee house.

Another lady was awarded $780,000 after breaking her ankle tripping over a toddler who was running amok inside a furniture store - even though the child was her own son!

Things don't always go according to plan though...

Imagine spending your Valentine's Day not with your loved ones, but rather under a sign that looked like it was about to fall at any minute! 

True story! A man did this in the hope that the sign would fall and hit him on the head so he could sue.

His wish didn't come true though and the sign didn't fall off the wall. It's believed the man spent almost two days under the sign in the hope of making some cash.
