St Maarten in the Caribbean is a popular spot for tourists to watch aircraft taking off and landing.
Landing, especially, because the planes pass over the packed beaches below, seconds before touchdown.
According to BBC, a 57-year-old lady has died after allegedly holding onto a fence with her family while watching an aircraft take off. The force caused her to fall backwards and resulted in serious injuries. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment but unfortunately didn't survive.
Plenty of videos have been posted online showing aircrafts passing as low as 100ft, and although there are signs warning members of the public not to get too close to the fence by the runway, people still line up to experience the force of the engines - which isn't a safe thing to do.
