Expectant mother baffles the internet with newborn visiting rules

A mom has come up with a strange list of rules for guests who plan to visit her newborn - and it has many scratching their heads after reading it.

A friend of mine is about to have a baby and she's recently told me how excited, but nervous she is to have a little bundle of joy around.
Another mom-to-be has caused a debate online after putting some strict rules in place ahead of her baby’s arrival. She’s come under fire after laying down the law with 13 rules she expects all visitors to follow when they come to meet her newborn baby.

According to an article published by Daily Mail, she took to UK parenting website Mumsnet to share the rules.
She started off by asking moms on the platforms whether it was okay for her to ask her guests to follow these rules that she made up.
Some of them included:
- Washing your hands with soap and water before touching the infant
- No photos with flash
- Changing clothes if visitors have smoked before visiting
- No photos of the baby to be posted on social media
- And the most ludicrous one of the lot - you will be asked to help around their home in exchange to carry the baby. What?!
Her rules have divided the internet, with some saying that the rules are unreasonable, while others say that she's doing it to safeguard her baby.
Personally, with all these rules in place, I’d be surprised if she gets any visitors at all. Maybe she’s just trying to keep the in-laws away? I mean, I sort of get where this lady is coming from with some of the rules, but I think they are a bit excessive, because surely if any of her guests do anything that she doesn't quite particularly like, she could simply tell them to stop, right?

If I was ever to welcome a new child into the world, my list of rules for my visitors would be:
- Bring nappies - You can't have enough of these, right?
- Only visit if you have gifts (for the baby and for me)
- Help change nappies
Okay, I'm just kidding, but seriously, do you think this woman is being unreasonable? If you could compile a list of rules for people visiting you and your newborn, what would it look like?
