Damon receives the most incredible letter from a listener

Do you remember Elize, the incredibly brave lady who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000.

She'd undergone chemo and radiation and she'd had a partial removal of her right breast.

Seventeen years down the line Elize wrote to me to ask if I could help her on the Big Favour with a mastectomy bra.Being unemployed, it was just too expensive for her.

Now, three weeks later and Elize has been for her fitting, got five mastectomy bra's and she feels like a new woman. 

This in itself is a reason to smile but something else that warmed my heart was the letter I received from Elize. 

Howzit my bra's!!

After 1 week in my bra's - I'm feeling Bra crazy, Bra fabulous...Bra sensational, Bra excited, Bra decent...lots of satin, lace .... and most of all feminine...

I feel like a superstar - Bra - natural! Like a  naughty kid to say least!

Just to let you know I am so overwhelmed by the Big Favour's good gesture that it has changed my life so much. 

So many people have walked up to me and said " Are you not the lady that was on the Big Favour.." I've been extremely touched & guess what ....their eyes wander straight to my boobs.

Too their surprise they see 2 equal - level boobs!! 

What a change to my posture!!!

Sandra from Satin Candy, you are an Angel from Heaven... Thank you so so much for my 5 Bra's & the sexy nighty...(from my heart, I could never have afford it).

So feminine with satin and lace and so soft.  I must admit that I felt quite a bit sexy.....

For the last 17 years, like I mentioned on the Big Favour, my posture was "out of proportion". 

I'd guessed my bra size 2x bigger than what I actually was!

I don't have backache - my bra is correct and I have a great, more straight up posture.

This letter got me thinking about the small things in life that we take for granted.  

For Elize, 17 years to build up the courage to write to me to ask for a bra to make her feel comfortable again. A huge ordeal in her life, but for others it could be as simple as walking into a store to buy one.
