Updated | By Damon Beard
Wayne Morehen, a proudly South African citizen and comedian, has created a parody video about window washers at road intersections that we all can relate to.
Listen as comedian Wayne Morehen talks about his window washing parody video, or read the details under the podcast.
When you pull up to a traffic light and window washers approach you, are you the person who is cool, calm, and collected and happily give a little donation, or are you the person who frantically waves them away, clicking your tongue while winding up your window?
A comedian named Wayne Morehen has created an hilarious new character called 'Wikus' and filmed a skit featuring some ‘real window washers’ from the street who are just trying to make a living.

He uploaded the video to his Facebook page, captioned: 'IF YOU ARE PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN PLEASE SHARE...🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦 ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Arrogant, egotistical and over confident. Wikus finds himself in a situation with a few “Window Washers.” Problem is, the situation has all been created in his over reactive head.'
'Wikus' is described as someone who is good at "creating comical situations out of every day problems and situations. #southafricanproblems #proudlysouthafrican."
The video was shot at a traffic intersection and shows how furious 'Wikus' gets as the window washers take over his car, one spray bottle at a time.
I don’t mind window washers, but I never seem to be stuck at a traffic light long enough to have my window cleaned. When I am there, and my window is filthy, it always happens that there's no one there.

The video seems to be a huge hit among South Africans. It’s attracted thousands of views on Facebook and YouTube since it was uploaded, with many praising him for how relatable it was.
In a country with so many negative headlines at the moment, thank you, 'Wikus', for giving us something to laugh about.
