'Business Malcom X' - A South African man spreading joy through kind deeds
A man known only as 'Business Malcom X' on social media is making waves in South Africa by giving money to those who truly need it.
There’s a man in Johannesburg who’s warming the hearts of the nation by proving that one small act of kindness can go a very long way.
In my books, a real hero is someone who hides their identity and does good deeds not for recognition, but in order to make a change in people's lives.
He goes by the name 'Business Malcom X' on Instagram, and his profile is filled with short videos showing him handing out cash randomly to the people of South Africa, mostly to those who need it the most.
In his most recent video, 'Business Malcom X' can be seen telling a young man in a grocery store to pick out anything that he wants, and he will foot the bill.

This was done for no reason other than he wants to spread some joy. The look of joy on this man's face is indescribable as he battles to make a choice of what items to pick out.
I have reached out to 'Business Malcom X', but he was unfortunately unavailable for comment. Perhaps he doesn't want any recognition, but I would have loved to talk to him, and find out more from him.
It's videos and people like this who make me proud to be South African.
