The Big Favour helps a dedicated mom in need

Naquita had been going through a really tough time with her son D’Neillo, so Damon decided to step in and help.

I received a mail from a young mom called Naquita, who had been having a really tough time.

Her baby son D'Neillo had been constantly ill. It all started from about five-months-old when he had chest infections, bronchitis, and pneumonia.

Naquita bought an air purifier which helped a bit, and D'Neillo also went to the physiotherapist. Doctors thought he was allergic to milk or had asthma. Medical bills rocketed as strange 'burn bubbles' kept appearing all over D'Neillo's lower back and bottom.

Things got worse and worse until it was finally discovered that he was allergic to nappies. Naquita had been using all the different brands of nappies, but when D'Neillo wore Pampers, the rash went away and he got better.

Two brothers, Gino and Marco Minietti, heard the story and jumped on board wanting to help.

Naquita was a complete stranger to them, but they saw a young mom and her baby that they just knew they wanted to assist.

Marco and Gino run a propshaft repair company called Pro Propshafts, and they're based in Westmead. This family-run business is nearly 20 years old and they treat every customer as a friend.

Pro Propshafts specialise in the repairing and balancing of propshafts on all 4x4 bakkies, mini busses, heavy duty earth moving equipment, and all makes of trucks.

They service the North Coast to Zululand, and as far south as Port Shepstone, and also service the Pietermaritzburg region. They collect, quote, repair, and deliver propshafts throughout the province.

Marco and Gino donated five bags of the special Pampers nappies to Naquita, as well as a R3,000 gift voucher to Baby City.

Well done, gents. We salute you for your kindness!
