As a society, we are breaking the solid box that we have all been classed into over the years.

Whether that comes in the form of education, finances, race or otherwise, we are breaking those walls down one at a time and we have to say, seeing women lead with confidence is truly inspiring.

One woman who is proving to us that following one passion doesn't always mean the be-all and end-all is Zamaswazi Luswazi

Zamaswazi Luswazi is a professional engineer turned wine owner with an aspiration for winemaking.

The KZN-born go-getter studied mechanical engineering and has over 20 years in the field.

Between 2005 and 2006 she spent some time in France and this is where she developed her love of wine. She resided in the wine valley of Val de Loire and had dreams of owning a wine farm one day.

Luswazi is living out her dream now as she partnered with a fellow mechanical engineer and became a co-founder and Director of Zintokazi Wines.

It is truly a great barrier breaker to see someone of colour break the stereotype and create a wine that breathes style and flavour.

Zintokazi Wines is still new on the market, but it is already a wine that is making memories.

Luswazi is a great example of what it means to follow your dreams and that it is okay to have more than one dream.

Let's choose to use her words of inspiration to steer forward with purpose and conviction. Let go of all the energies of doubt and regret.
