This woman was being catfished and believed she was engaged to Omarion
Updated | By East Coast Radio
Definitely one for the bizarre stories folder... but not as bizarre as you would think.
We've heard of some crazy catfish scams.
But this is by far one of the most bizarre ones we have come across.
A woman appeared on the infamous 'Dr Phil' show after her friend believed that she was being catfished.
But that wasn't the part that got us upset.
The person who was catfishing her was supposedly American singer Omarion.
This woman not only believed that she was in a relationship with Omarion, but she believed they were engaged.
Her interview on the show revealed how oblivious she was to the fact that she was being scammed.
And it was actually quite sad and disheartening to see what people are willing to do just to feel wanted, accepted, and, mostly importantly, not alone.
