Woman earns Guinness World Record for unusual tongue
Updated | By East Coast Radio
That's unusual, right?
It stands to reason that every record that the Guinness World Records hands out is for something extraordinary.
"An Oregon woman earned a Guinness World Record for her unusually sized tongue, which has a circumference of 5.21 inches." (UPI)
That's 13.24cm!
In case you were wondering how someone might know that there is such a category, Jenny DuVander shared some details on how she made the discovery.
After reading the Guinness World Records 2023, she found out that there was a category for the largest tongue circumference.
She always knew that she had a large tongue, but after measuring it and getting an official measurement from her dentist, she knew there was a good chance she could break a record.
"My son, Evan, loves Guinness World Records and pores through the hardcover books every year. My record is definitely inspired by his love of facts and human abilities," DuVander said. (UPI)
