Texting whilst driving is extremely dangerous and has caused many fatalities over the years.
But it seems despite the dangers of texting and driving, drivers still tend to do it.
According to the Arrive Alive website: "Texting while driving is one of the biggest causes of car accidents in South Africa. It is also illegal to use your cellphone while driving in South Africa."
In a video that was shared on X, we see the ramifications of what might happen when you text and drive.
This man was blatantly texting and driving and things didn't end well. Luckily, he was okay and able to get out of the vehicle.
