"To Sara, women are already born strong - hence they don’t need to be
empowered, they need to be inspired."
We know her for her headstrong personality and ability to connect with people. Dr Sara Al Madani is one of the 'Real Housewives of Dubai' and is doubling up as our woman crush this week.
Sara Al Madani is an Emirati multi-award-winning serial entrepreneur, honoured public speaker, and a former board member selected by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as a former board member at the UAE SME Council in the Ministry of Economy in Dubai.
She started her first business at the age of 15 and her success as a young entrepreneur led to her being selected to motivate and inspire both men and women around the world.
She believes it is important to play an active role in the community. This four-time TEDx speaker has delivered more than 200 keynote speeches at many universities, colleges, and institutes in the UAE and worldwide since 2017.
One of her key beliefs really pow-wowed us: "To Sara, women are already born strong - hence they don’t need to be empowered, they need to be inspired."
When asked about her young entrepreneurial journey, she confidently said that she was born to be entrepreneurial.
She shared that joining the 'Real Housewives of Dubai' cast was led by her mission to spread knowledge and also shed light about Arab women.
As a single mother, she has been divorced twice and is happy to break the narrow-mindedness that comes with what people imagine Emirati women to be.
She believes that being on the show is part of her mission to break stereotypes, her confidence is being true to herself and holding true to her authenticism.
Her focus on self-love and having boundaries really inspired Carol Ofori.

So often, we dwell on the fact that we have to please others before ourselves, but the truth is that we need to make ourselves happy first.
Sara is the perfect depiction of what we should all aspire to when it comes to prioritising society's expectations.
Changing your mindset is something we all have the power to do, "being free, being happy is a basic right". She went on to say that making decisions is free will and exercising it is in all our hands.
