After being labeled as a country that is believed to have wild animals running free on the streets, we were surprised to see many stories over the years of actual wild animals running wild on the streets of South Africa.

We've seen lions, tigers and even ostriches running free on the streets.

But this time it was not South Africa but rather the streets of Seoul, South Korea that had a wild experience that involved a zebra

A zebra was seen running through the streets of Seoul, South Korea last week.

Ironic, we know. Considering that the road traffic rules include the 'Zebra crossing' which allows not zebras but people the right to cross at certain intersections.

Young Sero, the zebra broke free from the Children's Grand Park Zoo, in Seoul, South Korea.

"The young zebra, who was born at the zoo in 2021, was able to escape after breaking the wooden fencing around his pen.

He was tranquilized before being taken back to the zoo in the back of a truck.

An official at the Children's Grand Park Zoo told the Associated Press that the zebra has been assessed by vets and is in a stable condition." (BBC)
